"Dad, Mom," Ye Xi called out politely.
Ye Xi's father was satisfied with her serious attire, but his brow furrowed again at the sight of the tattoo on her collarbone.
"This is Uncle Jin and Auntie Jin," Ye Xi's father explained to her, "and that is Jin Ruinan."
Ye Xi greeted each one, obedient and sweet.
When she looked at Jin Ruinan, her smile was quite forced, "Mr. Jin."
"Little Xi has really grown up. She was only this tall when we left, and now she's become a young lady," Auntie Jin praised Ye Xi, her gaze growing increasingly satisfied.
"Isn't that the truth? She was so lively back then, always following Rui Nan around. Some even joked that they were childhood sweethearts," Uncle Jin also lavished praise.
Ye Xi felt puzzled internally, how come she wasn't aware she played with what's-his-name when they were kids?
Jin Ruinan watched Ye Xi, his gaze evaluative.
