Qiao Zhiyi was bubbling with excitement, but Ye Xi quickly doused her enthusiasm.
"What does it matter to me if he has a hidden identity?" Ye Xi panicked, "I don't like him anyway."
"Ah? You don't like him?" Qiao Zhiyi looked utterly disappointed.
Ye Xi glared at her, "Zhiyi, you've gone bad."
Qiao Zhiyi said with a laugh, "Forget it, I won't tease you. If you don't like him, you don't like him. Anyway, follow your heart. I won't go prying into it. Matters of the heart are best left to unfold naturally."
"Good to know."
"Alright, I won't bother you anymore," Qiao Zhiyi stood up, "I'm going to check on Shi Jingzhou."
"Checking up on him?" Ye Xi seized the chance to tease.
Qiao Zhiyi waved her hand with a smile, "Change the word, it's called caring."
Ye Xi shrugged, "It's cloyingly sweet."
"I'm off."
Ye Xi waved her hand, eager to see her leave.
As Qiao Zhiyi left the Ye family's office, she happened to run into Ye Xi's so-called childhood sweetheart.
