Qiao Zhiyi shook her head, "The chances of this happening are uncertain; she might wake up tomorrow, or in ten days to half a month, or it might be half a year or even longer. In short, no one dares to be certain when she will awaken."
Shi Jingzhou knew this question was also troubling her, so he no longer thought about when his mother would wake up; he simply hoped things could be simpler.
Qiao Zhiyi still comforted him, "Don't worry too much. Since it's an unknown, there's a chance she'll wake up."
"Hmm. I'm not overly worried; everyone has their own fate, and worrying is useless," Shi Jingzhou stood up. "I'll do the dishes, you go take a bath."
Qiao Zhiyi nodded.
Before grabbing her clothes to go to the bathroom, she glanced at Shi Jingzhou, who had rolled up his sleeves and was cleaning up the kitchen.
The scene and atmosphere now did have a bit of a daily living feel.
If things continued to be this mundane and smooth, it wouldn't be so bad.
