"Why are you here?" Qiao Zhiyi was the first to speak, seeming to believe that only by doing so could she conceal her emotions.
Han Ling glanced at the people beside her, his voice as smooth as jade yet distinctly reaching Qiao Zhiyi's ears in such a setting, "I just got off work, came here to relax a bit."
"You just finished work?" Qiao Zhiyi was somewhat surprised, it was already past ten o'clock.
"Yeah. I was organizing some documents needed for a business trip."
"Oh." Qiao Zhiyi wanted to ask him where he was going on a business trip, but then thought better of it, realizing she shouldn't ask too much.
Han Ling tilted his chin towards the people next to them, "Your friends?"
Qiao Zhiyi was slightly frustrated, "My sister-in-law and her friends."
Han Ling raised his eyebrows slightly, "I thought this wasn't your scene." He glanced at the two untouched glasses of juice in front of her, his gaze becoming even gentler.
Her wariness was still quite high.
