Around four in the morning, Chu Zhiyi brought over a cup of water and his usual stomach medicine to Yan Jingting, watching as he swallowed the pills.
"You ate so many mooncakes in one go, you were bound to feel uncomfortable."
Just ten minutes earlier, Chu Zhiyi had been awoken from her sleep by the sound of Yan Jingting vomiting in the bathroom.
Yan Jingting's face was still a bit pale as he sat on the bed, gently closing his eyes to rest.
Chu Zhiyi poured him another cup of warm water and had him drink it, then leaned over to touch his forehead.
Yan Jingting laughed, raising his eyebrows but not avoiding her touch, "Afraid I'll fall ill?"
"If you get sick, I'll have to take care of you."
His forehead wasn't too hot; it looked like it was really just an upset stomach.
"Does your stomach still hurt?"
Yan Jingting paid close attention and then nodded, frowning, "It hurts."
Her eyes widened a bit, "...Shall I get you a hot water bottle?"
