Lucien was bewildered looking at Rowena, 'When did this GILF get here?'
Rowena put down her tea cup and turned towards Lucien and muttered, her voice was low but contained pride and arrogance "You didn't answer my question."
Lucien squinted his eyes and glared at her, 'Who do you think you are? Do you think I would answer you just because of those big milkers?'
"Who are you?" Lucien asked, he turned towards his father. But his eyes widened to see his ever steady father shivering a little.
"M-Mother, when did you get here?" Edmund stuttered as he stared at the woman who was sitting in his office.
"Mother?" Lucien exclaimed, he turned around and looked at Rowena, shocked.
'Those are really big.' Lucien commented as he gulped down his saliva as he stared at Rowena's big milkers that were threatening to spill out.
Rowena looked at Lucien with narrowed eyes. "You still haven't answered the question, boy," she said, slightly annoyed.
"Ah!" Lucien woke up from his stupor and said, "Before I do that, I want to know what kind of person the king is."
"The king is a scheming bastard," Rowena replied nonchalantly without skipping a beat.
"Then we will send a letter about the details of my location," Lucien stated, nodding at Rowena.
"But won't it beat the purpose of you leaving the mansion?" Edmund asked, confused by his son's words.
Lucien shook his head and answered, "No. It will reduce the pressure on us. The imperial family will rest easy since I have taken the bait, and the royal family will rest easy since they know my location."
"The royal family will most likely arrange a marriage with you," Rowena said, pondering over her grandson's plan.
Lucien nodded his head, acknowledging what she said, and replied, "Accept them, and send the princess to where I stay."
Edmund's eyes widened at the audacity and cleverness of his son's plan, while Rowena's lips curled into a proud smile. The room was filled with a new sense of respect for Lucien's cunning.
"But what will you do until then?" Edmund asked.
Lucien turned towards the duke, he clenched his fists in determination and muttered, "I will get strong."
Rowena, seeing her grandson's determination, smiled wickedly. She stood up from the sofa and walked over to Lucien. "Good! I like you," she complimented. She then turned to Edmund, her expression hardening. "Do as the boy says."
Edmund nodded in reply, his expression serious as he muttered, "Yes."
.....
"Haaah! That was exhausting!" Lucien muttered as he walked through the hallways of the mansion.
'I didn't think that would work,' he mumbled inwardly, recalling today's events. He clenched his jaw as a smirk developed on his lips.
'With this, I have bought four years for myself,' he thought as he reached his room. He opened the door and entered, looking towards the bed only to see Marigold sleeping.
A small smile appeared on his face as he slowly walked towards the bed, not wanting to make a sound.
He got on the bed and stared at her face. 'She is beautiful when she is sleeping peacefully,' he said to himself, feeling a rare moment of peace
.....
It had been a week since Lucien and his father had their meeting. He and Marigold had left the mansion and were on their way to their new home.
The maids from the mansion had been informed and had already arrived at their new residence.
"Where are we going, Lucien?" Marigold asked, staring out the window.
They were sitting in a luxurious carriage adorned with golden platings and gems embedded in its walls. The ride was smooth, thanks to the magic artifacts that ensured their comfort.
Lucien, leaning on his mother's shoulder, mumbled, "We are going to our new home, Mother."
Marigold nodded, pondering the reason. "Safety?" she muttered.
"Yes."
"What about the maids?" Marigold asked, concerned for their safety.
"They have already arrived at our new home," Lucien answered. He then stared out the window and mumbled, 'Open Status.'

'Hmm. I am closer to a thousand points. I hope my wait will be worth it,' Lucien thought, a mysterious smile playing on his lips as he dozed off to sleep.
It took a week for them to reach their new home. Just like before, it was in the middle of nowhere.
"Nice," Lucien mumbled inwardly, looking at the surroundings as he got off the carriage.
The mansion was surrounded by tall mountains and thick forests on all sides. The air was crisp and clean, and the only sounds were the rustling of leaves and the distant calls of birds. The mansion itself, built from sturdy stone, exuded a sense of strength and seclusion.
"Are we going to live in the middle of nowhere again?" Marigold mumbled, her voice tinged with both curiosity and concern.
Lucien turned to her with a reassuring smile. "Yes, Mother, but this time it's different. This place is a fortress. We are safe here."
Marigold looked around, her eyes reflecting a mix of wonder and apprehension. "It is beautiful, though. And so peaceful."
As they made their way to the entrance, Helen and the other maids were already there, ready to welcome them. Helen curtsied deeply. "Welcome, Master Lucien, Lady Marigold. We have prepared everything for your arrival."
...
Lucien spent the next three weeks peacefully, diligently completing daily quests until his points reached the coveted thousand mark. Right now, he was in his bedroom alone. He sat on the bed with his shirt off, staring at the glowing status screen in front of him.
