Gu Mian looked up at him, "What?"
"I said I've looked for Gu Xingzhi." Li Tingshen smiled, "I told him, aside from you, I can give up anything."
Gu Mian was slightly stunned.
She couldn't deny that his possessiveness could thrill her.
But more than that, it felt oppressive.
"Why are you convinced there's something between Xingzhi and me?" Gu Mian looked at him puzzled, recalling in her mind, "Did something about my behavior give you that idea?"
Although she had known Gu Xingzhi since they were children, she hadn't forgotten she was a married woman. Even with half-family, she maintained proper social distances, with no overstepping.
So she really didn't understand why Li Tingshen minded so much.
Or perhaps, what Li Tingshen minded was not her relationship with Gu Xingzhi, but the fact that Gu Xingzhi was a Li family member?
Gu Mian felt this was more likely the case.
"It's all in the past," Li Tingshen hugged her.
