After a while, Ye Wudi returned with two brown horses and said, "Young Master James, I have already prepared everything. We can leave right away."
Ye Ling'er immediately approached the horse and hopped onto its back, followed by Ye Wudi, who sat behind her.
'Well, I thought that I'd simply bring Ye Wudi, but… Nevermind, it doesn't matter as long as I can arrive there faster.' James had assumed he would only bring Ye Wudi because he had asked to borrow Ye Wudi as a guide and didn't intend to bring Ye Ling'er along.
However, since they were supposed to go to Mortos City together and it didn't affect him either, he didn't mind.
James looked at the horses. They were actually decent as mounts since they were peak ferocious rank beasts. However, he already had the lion as his personal mount.
"Okay, but I will ride on my own pet instead of the horse." James immediately summoned the lion from his beast space.
"Roar!"
The lion roared loudly, feeling excited that he could finally go outside after being inside the beast space for a few hours without seeing any signs of life and feeling bored.
The people around the street stopped their activities and looked in the direction of the lion.
They were surprised to see a big lion in front of Ye Han's restaurant.
However, when they saw Ye Han and the situation, they were relieved because they thought there might be trouble in the town.
The lion's roar was so loud that basically everyone in the town could hear it since the town itself wasn't that big, probably around 3 km in diameter.
However, many people didn't care about it, because even if there was trouble, there would be strong people in the town who would handle it.
James realized that the lion's roar might have been too loud and attracted a lot of attention.
However, he didn't care too much, since if someone came, he could simply apologize.
"Wow, big brother James. Your pet looks awesome, can I touch it?" Ye Ling'er immediately went down from the horse, approached the lion, and asked.
"You can, but be careful that you'll be eaten by it if he feels uncomfortable." James jokingly said.
"Ahhh..." Ye Ling'er was scared and screamed, immediately hiding behind James.
"Don't eat me, I don't have any meat on me because I am too little. You can eat the horses or my brother if you want to eat someone, he's bigger than me." Ye Ling'er pointed to the horses and her brother.
James and the others only laughed, shaking their heads at Ye Ling'er behavior.
"I was just joking, he won't eat you. Do you want to ride it with me?" James smiled while reassuring her so she wouldn't be scared anymore.
Ye Ling'er's eyes lit up when he heard it, however, he hesitated a little and asked, "Really? Can I really ride him? Can my brother also ride him? Just in case the lion wants to eat someone, let him eat my brother first."
James laughed at Ye Ling'er's answer and replied, "Of course, he can. We can also arrive faster riding him compared to the horse."
"Come on, let's leave right away because we have something to do on the way there too." James said while picking up Ye Ling'er and carrying her to the lion.
Ye Wudi also immediately jumped down from the horse and walked towards the lion.
James put Ye Ling'er on the lion's back and said, "Don't be scared, he won't bite you."
"Wahhhh, so soft... Big Brother James, what's his name?" Ye Ling'er was petting the lion's head happily and asked.
James thought for a while before answering, "Hmmm... I haven't thought of it yet. Let's go with something simple like Little Lion."
"Why do you call him Little Lion when he is so big like this? Besides, you are so bad at giving names. Has no one ever told you that?" Ye Ling'er obviously disagreed and said whatever came to her mind blatantly.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA, see? You are so dumb at giving names. Even a kid like her knows." Little Fluffy laughed mockingly at James being ridiculed by a 4-year-old girl.
"Shut up, you know nothing. Why do you need to think too much just for a name?" James glanced at Little Fluffy and felt unhappy because, whenever this little ball appeared, he always made things worse instead of helping him actively.
"Then, what name do you think suits him?" James then smiled and asked Ye Ling'er.
"Of course, Big Lion. Because he is already this big, and calling him Little Lion doesn't suit him." Ye Ling'er confidently said that without any hesitation at all.
'Can someone please hold me tightly before I beat up a minor? I am really pissed off somehow. How dare this little girl say that to me when she is worse than me?' James held on to his inner desire to beat someone up. If she were a man and not a little girl, he would definitely beat her up silly.
"Ahahahaha, how could you say someone is bad at giving names when you only changed it from Little to Big?" Ye Wudi laughed and commented, as he wanted to get on Little Lion's back too.
However, when he attempted to climb Little Lion, he felt someone hit his head.
"Don't waste anymore time, we need to arrive there ASAP." James smacked Ye Wudi's head quite hard and lifted him up to Little Lion's back behind Ye Ling'er.
Of course, the reason he smacked Ye Wudi's head was not because he added salt to his wound and made James couldn't hold back his inner desire to beat up someone.
It was definitely NOT because of it, 100%.
James just didn't want to waste any more time, and Ye Wudi was moving slowly.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA, there is someone who couldn't hold his anger and beat up a minor. Of course, I don't know him. He is just a shameless person from a faraway place in the western region, and obviously not here right now." Little Fluffy was laughing so loudly that James's patience, which was already as thin as a tissue at the moment, immediately snapped.
"Shut the fuck up, you little ball. Come here physically if you dare, I will beat the shit out of you." James was shouting inside his mind, and unknowingly, he unsheathed his sword and released a few Fire Sword Skills [Flame Splitting Slash] aiming towards Little Fluffy.
Fortunately, Little Fluffy was always floating in the air, and James's skills didn't harm anyone or destroy any buildings.
However, what James didn't foresee was that his actions would result in a misunderstanding.
