When James looked at the item's description, he was satisfied and decided to wear them immediately. As soon as he put them on, he felt the power from the item's effect and ordered Little Fluffy to make the items transparent so that others couldn't see them, as the items he bought didn't suit well with his black robe.

Subsequently, James sensed Little Snow was already a few meters behind him and approaching slowly. He then tilted his head and saw Little Snow walk silently towards him.

When their eyes met, Little Snow howled quietly while jumping a few times, as if to say, "Master, I am here, I am here. Little Snow has arrived to help the Master."

"Little Snow, I need your help to at least hold the Peak-level Bronze Rank Beast and leave the rest of the beasts to me. Of course, if you can kill it, then do so, but remember to prioritize your safety first." James explained it with a smile.

"Awoo."

"Awoo."

Little Snow howled quietly again with a firm look, as if to say, "Don't worry, Master. Leave it to me."

Then he walked up to James and rubbed his head against James's body while being embraced and petted by James.

Afterward, James explained his plan to Little Snow.

"Little Snow, you can now approach the fire wolf slowly. As soon as I say 'attack', you will immediately engage."

His plan was simple: let Little Snow approach the fire wolf first. After Little Snow was close enough to the fire wolf, he would attack the green viper immediately and kill it.

Little Snow then followed James's instructions and moved towards the northeast, heading towards the fire wolf's position as James had explained in the plan.

Meanwhile, James walked silently towards the green viper, which was in the northwest direction.

When James sensed that Little Snow was close enough to the fire wolf, he instructed him to stop first, worried that the fire wolf would notice Little Snow if he went any closer.

James then walked a little further and finally knew the position of the snake, which was hiding in the bush 13 meters ahead of him.

James unsheathed his sword and decided to use his Fire Sword Skill again instead of the skill he had bought and intended to use this time.

There were two reasons why James did this. First, he didn't know the exact position of the snake who was hiding in the bush because the system only provided its location and its information, not specific details like the position, shape, etc.

Second, he preferred not to engage in close combat with a snake who was hiding in the bush, especially when he had a more straightforward solution, which was just bombarding the bush from a distance with his sword skills.

James then raised his sword and instantly used the Fire Sword Skill [Flame Splitting Slash] a few times, swinging it down and up repeatedly.

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!"

Four crescent moon-shaped swords Qi which were covered in flames, flew out of the blade and moved towards the bush with different targets.

James intended to attack all parts of the bush because he didn't know the exact part where the snake was hiding.

As his skills burned through the bush, James heard the system notifications he had been waiting for.

[Ding! You have killed the High-level Bronze Rank Beast.]

[Ding! The progression at Peak Rank 1 has increased to 25%.]

After killing the snake, James noticed from the system scan that the sheep was fleeing, likely because it detected that James's skill was too much for itself.

James assumed that these beasts had initially come to check the situation because they sensed his skills from afar and couldn't tell the exact power. As a result, the sheep immediately made the decision to flee.

Subsequently, James ordered Little Snow to attack the fire wolf. At the same time, he moved to the sheep's position and used his ice skill (Ice Spike) a few times to attract the savage dog's attention.

James wanted to draw the dog's attention to himself because its position was close to Little Snow, and he feared the dog might interfere with Little Snow's battle with the fire wolf.

As James raised his left hand and cast his skill [Ice Spike], five magic circles immediately emerged above his head, each forming an ice spike containing 20% of his mana, and James instantly made an attack gesture as he slapped his left hand.

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

"Swish!"

The ice spikes flew randomly, and upon hitting the dog, James heard a squeaking sound, followed by the sight of the dog charging wildly towards him.

The savage dog resembled a fierce rottweiler with scars on its body and an ice spike that stuck on the left side of his body near his shoulder.

When he saw the dog charging towards him, James swiftly changed his direction to the dog while activating his Fiery Sword Skill that he had bought previously and decided to overlook the sheep for the time being.

His blade was immediately covered in flames, but he could feel that the flames were definitely weaker than when he used Flame Splitting Slash before.

James immediately swung his sword down as the dog attacked him with his paw.

"Clang!"

James was pushed back around 10 meters due to his inferior physical strength compared to the dog.

However, his sword pierced through the claw and inflicted a significant gash, while also leaving a burn mark.

Realizing that his physical strength was inferior to that of the dog, James didn't want to engage in close combat with the dog anymore, as he immediately cast five Ice Spikes again, targeting the dog.

Because the dog had already been injured twice by James and its movement was also restricted as its right paw was severely injured by James, three of the five Ice Spikes hit the dog on its left head, neck, and body as it dodged to the side.

After getting hit by the Ice Spikes, the dog screamed and moved madly on the ground for a few seconds before it stopped moving and died.

After James heard the notifications, he immediately picked up the corpses of the dog, snake, and boar that he had left previously before going to Little Snow's side to see the situation.

When James arrived, he saw that Little Snow was in an advantageous position. He was not surprised to see this situation, as Little Snow's ice attribute had an advantage over the fire wolf's fire attribute, and Little Snow's ice attribute rank was higher.

However, James chose to intervene in their fight despite knowing that it was just a matter of time before Little Snow killed the wolf, as he was worried because there was a possibility of a stronger beast that would come here like these beasts before.

Subsequently, James immediately cast his Fire Sword Skill [Flame Splitting Slash] and killed the fire wolf with only one move.

Afterwards, James took the corpse into his inventory and went back with Little Snow to the cave.
