"That is a brief explanation of the Trident Group. Since your fighting skills are extremely great, I would suggest that the group leader allow you to be in the first squad," Cillian explained, with both arms crossed over his chest.
In the group, there were five main squads with different tasks for each of them.
The First Squad was in charge of assaults, the Second Squad was in charge of defending the city, the Third Squad was in charge of reconnaissance and tracking, the Fourth Squad was in charge of recruitment, and the Last Squad was in charge of managing the logistics needed by the other four squads.
Cillian was not part of the fourth squad but rather the third one. He was an important person in Trident because his tracking and reconnaissance would be useful for future actions for the entire group.
Morgan and Cillian continued walking together in the Romarich residence's corridors. Their steps stopped when they arrived at the open exit of the house, where two of Cillian's partners were waiting next to a black sedan.
"Tomorrow, someone from the first squad will pick you up. Prepare yourself, Morgan," Cillian pleaded, Morgan cleared his throat in response.
Both of Cillian's eyes stared intently at Morgan's back area. There was no visible distortion of space due to the servant's magic aura. That proved Morgan hadn't done the summoning yet.
"Don't waste any time, Morgan. They're after Romarich. There should be someone who can protect you," Cillian replied.
"What you mean is—"
Alisha suddenly appeared in the back corridor, arriving in her long, dark maroon dress. Both Cillian and Alisha's eyes looked at each other in seriousness; Morgan looked back and realized her mother was there.
"Hurry up and make the summons! The Trident cannot continue to protect Romarich," Cillian emphasized, saying goodbye and stepping away.
Alisha did the same, not advising Morgan because she thought Morgan already fully understood the minimum criteria for a mage in the Romarich family to obtain a servant.
Amidst the silence of the place, Morgan faintly heard the soft voice of a woman coming from the direction in front of him.
[Hey, Boy]
[Do you want a servant?]
'Who is that? Is someone talking to me?' Morgan asked silently.
Through Morgan's eyes, he witnessed a red light appear as particles underneath a wooden floor. Morgan took a deep breath and bravely approached the wooden floor.
Surprisingly, The red light opened a mysterious wooden door above the floor, revealing steps leading downstairs to a mysterious place that Morgan had never known.
With great caution, Morgan stepped inside down the spiral staircase. From the end of the basement hallway, Morgan could see a yellowish red speck of light appearing at the end of the hallway, the light of a fire torch.
'What is this place? Why are there so many drawers here?' Morgan asked himself.
He walked around the place, checking every corner of the room to ensure there weren't any magic traps. Walking further into the room, Morgan saw an ancient red circle with an Anglo-Saxon rune alphabet.
"Could it be the ancient circle for summoning servants?" asked Morgan, trying to touch the red lines on the ancient circle; it looked like the color of blood.
"Mira said to perform a summoning. What is needed is an ancient circle with the mage's blood, a sacred artifact, and a certain amount of mana belonging to the mage," Morgan replied, recalling Mira's explanation of the general requirements for summoning a servant soul.
[Hey, boy]
[Remove this seal from my wooden box]
The voice returned, accompanied by a bright red light that now seemed to be coming from a small wooden box stored in a glass drawer. Morgan swallowed his saliva deeply, opened the glass drawer and picked up the mysterious box.
A paper was attached to the top of the box, patterned with squares with writings on them. The handwriting was terrible but definitely of the Anglo-Saxon rune alphabet type.
Without knowing the script's meaning, Morgan simply pulled it out, and the paper suddenly burst into flames without cause. A strong gust of wind appeared around Morgan, making objects such as paper, books, and other tools fly around, with Morgan as the center of the vortex.
The red light inside the wooden box continued shining brightly, dazzling Morgan's eyes. Morgan's hand stretched forward, opened the box and saw that the contents were an amulet with a pattern of three spirals linked together, the Triskelion symbol.
[Do the sacred ritual]
Morgan saw the amulet looked old and a little rusty. Mira explained that summoning someone's servant soul, a sacred artifact with a strong connection to that person, was required.
'Is this a sacred artifact? If I perform the sacred ritual, will I get a servant?' Morgan asked.
'All those answers can only be obtained through a sacred ritual,' said Morgan.
Having gained his trust and confidence, Morgan stepped while holding the amulet with his right palm. Morgan stood directly above a red magic circle with ancient Anglo-Saxon letters.
Morgan slashed his left hand with a small dagger, spilling the blood onto the circle to cause the ancient red circle to glow bright marron.
The ancient red circle was a sign that the sacred ritual could soon be conducted. Morgan held the amulet firmly in his right hand while his left hand lifted up to drip his blood onto the ancient magic circle.
"By the power of light and darkness above the heavens," declared Morgan.
"The Heaven pillars pour upon the Earth along with God's judgment."
One by one, the words of the Anglo-Saxon rune alphabet lit up from the right side to the left side, fully blazing around the circle and hovering over the ground.
"The afterlife releases their dimensional boundaries. The soul incarnation of the magic will have come to serve the Master."
"Be my right hand. Swing the sword and unleash magic for me. Fulfil all my orders and die with me."
Now, not only did the rune alphabet float above the ground, but the objects around Morgan also began to float with red magic wrapping around them. Sacred ritual processions always awakened magical energy vibrations and frequencies in the surrounding place.
In her study, Alisha felt a vibration on the water's surface in her glass. Bradamante appeared right before Alisha's work desk, making Alisha even more convinced that the vibrations of magic energy were not outside but inside the house.
"Find where this powerful magical energy comes from, Bradamante!" insisted Alisha.
"Yes, Master."
Mira, who was bathing in her bathtub, felt the same thing. However, she could not confirm who owned the strong magical energy vibrations. Mira hurriedly grabbed a towel to end her routine.
"Siegfried?" called Mira, still in the bathroom wearing her bathrobe.
"I'm here, Master," Siegfried replied, arriving outside the bathroom door.
"Find Morgan and confirm if he's alright," Mira ordered.
"I'll do it."
Morgan was still in the basement where the sacred artifacts were; his right hand felt so hot as he continued to grasp the amulet. However, Morgan felt the shape of the amulet begin to fade as the minutes passed.
Bradamante found the origin of the magic energy vibrations, while Siegfried discovered Morgan's whereabouts.
[I found the origin of the magic energy vibrations, Alisha]
[I found Morgan, Master]
The two servants immediately informed their master about the exact location of the magic energy vibrations and Morgan's location.
Alisha was shocked by getting up from her seat. Her eyes widened as she heard the magical energy vibrations coming from the basement where the sacred artifacts were stored. Mira hurriedly dashed out of her bedroom to go see Morgan.
"It's bad! He performed the sacred ritual without preparing his mana control beforehand. He could die!" explained Mira, continuing to stride in her short-sleeved T-shirt and black pants.
Alisha did the same, but she aimed to find out who dared to disturb the sacred artifacts left behind by the Romarich Family.
"You will die before you can leave this house!" Alisha threatened.
Alisha and Mira arrived together above the wooden door with their servant. Alisha was surprised to realize Mira felt the same energy vibration as her.
"Did you also come to arrest the thief?" asked Alisha.
"Thief? No! I plan to save Morgan. He was performing a sacred ritual inside the room," Mira explained, leaving Alisha even more shocked and speechless.
"AAAAKH!"
A loud screaming was heard from inside the room. Alisha and Mira immediately focused their attention on the basement, of course, to save Morgan's life.
Inside the room, chaos was getting inevitable. Flying items were thrown to every corner of the room, Morgan's palms were blistering red as if they had been burned by something.
Mira and Alisha arrived to see the sacred artifact room in complete chaos, their attention glued to the figure of Morgan, who stood on a red magic circle with a dome of red flames encircling him.
"MORGAN!" shouted Alisha, trying to walk closer.
Alisha tried to stretch her hand forward, reaching for Morgan's body. However, Mira held Alisha's hand back.
"It will hurt you and thwart his sacred ritual. If he can survive, he'll get a servant at a very young age," Mira explained.
"But this magic energy is not coming from an A-rank servant. It's similar to an S-rank servant!" said Alisha.
"Morgan's strength is not enough to control an S-rank servant," Alisha continued.
"I... CALL YOU TO COME!" said Morgan, shouting while his eyes were firmly closed, clinging tightly to the disappearing amulet necklace.
[Servant Menu!]
[Ancient Magic Circle Has Been Formed]
[The Sacred Artifact Has Been Detected]
[Initiate Sacred Contract with Servant]
[Servant Rank: S]
[Servant Class: Magus]
[Name: Morgana Le Fay]
"What?!" startled Mira.
"M-Morgana Le Fay?" Alisha could not hide her shock at hearing the name. According to the ancient records of holy artifacts, the sacred artifact Morgana Le Fay managed to obtain was an amulet necklace with a potential of S rank to Pure rank servant.
The magic from the amulet flew towards Morgan's front, Morgan fell to his knees with a gasp as he winced in pain as his palms burned.
[WARNING!]
[Mana Capacity Reduced Below Minimum]
[Immediate Mana Recovery Required]
'Ah, damn it! I didn't expect performing sacred rituals would drain my mana like this,' Morgan complained.
Morgan lifted his head, staring straight ahead as the fire magic began to form a woman's body.
From head to toe, she wore a sexy black rose-patterned dress with beautifully shaped breasts and several pieces of jewelry on her fingers, wrists, shoulders, neck, and top of her head.
Her eyes are a fiery red with beautifully smooth white skin. Her luscious red lips match her skin color very well. Her back-length blonde hair created a feminine and graceful impression on her.
"Bradamante, be prepared!" declared Alisha.
"You do the same, Siegfried," added Mira.
Two servants appeared ahead of Alisha and Mira, preparing to guard their master from the threat of Morgana Le Fay, the servant summoned by Morgan.
"How pathetic!" cursed Morgana, stomping one foot to create a powerful wave of fire magic, pushing away everything around her except for Morgan.
Morgana realized Morgan had not been pushed away by the magic wave. Morgana's hand stretched forward, choking Morgan's neck and lifting the man's body high.
"You?! Did you summon my soul into this nasty form?!" asked Morgana sarcastically.
"Y-You are my servant. I am your master," declared Morgan softly.
"If you ... kill me, then you will ... die also," replied Morgan, his voice stuttering as his breathing began to falter.
Morgana was silent for a moment, with sharp eyes watching Morgan's face and every sentence that came out of his mouth. Morgan's eyes began to turn red as his arms and legs started to shake in seizures.
"Tch!"
Morgana released her grip on Morgan's neck, causing Morgan to fall over and cough at the impact of Morgana's strangled hands on him.
"Whatever. Don't think I'm going to help you," Morgana snapped, glaring sarcastically at Morgan and disappearing into the red flames.
Morgan fell to the floor with a ragged breath, his energy completely depleted with his mana drained. Morgan collapsed unconscious on top of the ancient circle.
