The two of them walked for a few more minutes until they reached the parking lot. Ryan said:
"Get in the car, what are you still staring at?"
The reason Alex was staring was obvious—the car wasn't exactly normal. He said:
"Why on earth are you using this kind of car? Are you planning to go off-road racing or something?"
"Did you hit your head on a rock? If I don't use this car, what, should I use a regular one? Look at the roads now; it's a complete mess. You think a regular car can handle this?"
"Uh..."
It was then that Alex realized he had been riding a mountain bike over cracked and ruined terrain without any issues. But with a regular car, it would be different—those vehicles weren't made for off-road driving.
After that, he got into the car, and the two of them set off. Ryan had already contacted the authorities earlier to expedite the process of getting a passport, so now they just needed to take a photo and wait for a bit.
