Chapter 127 - Absorbing

Erik's heart pounded as he saw the giant lumbering toward them, its heavy footsteps causing the ground beneath his feet to tremble. Worse than that, the black mist was racing ahead of the giant and forming tendrils of darkness that creeping closer, twisting and curling in the air. He knew what that mist could do, corrupt everything it touched and plunged it into despair. He still remember clearly what it does at that time in Midgard.Without a second thought Erik dashed forward with his sword in hand. He was leaving his Boltr slung across his back. He couldn't risk using ranged attacks while weaving through the mist."Keep focused," he muttered to himself as he bolted toward the oncoming storm. The black mist seemed alive, writhing and lashing out as if sensing his presence.His body moved instinctively, his heightened stats Attribute allowing him to weave through the dark tendrils dodging left and right as they attempted to grab him.
