Chapter 126 - Mist

Erik and Mia stood frozen in place because the biting cold of Ragi's ice mist immobilizing them. Their hearts pounded with a mix of fear and frustration as they strained against the frost, unable to break free. They could feel the chill creeping into their bones, numbing their limbs and slowing their thoughts.In front of them, Ragi watched them with his pale blue eyes. He wanted to strike while they were helpless but the memory of their strength during the fight before flashed through his mind. They had pushed him to the brink and to attack them now would be too risky. With a grunt of frustration Ragi made his decision.He turned and disappeared behind the swirling icy mist, his dark cloak blending into the mist leaving Erik and Mia behind.
