Chapter 69 - Done?

Erik and Mia quickly scanned their surroundings with pounding heart. The growling grew louder, then shapes began to emerge from the swirling snow. About ten monstrous beasts appeared, their heads like those of wolves but their bodies was humanoid, muscular and covered in thick fur.

Erik's eyes narrowed as he look at them. "I thought there weren't any Werewolves in this myths," he muttered.

Mia shot him a glance. "What makes you think there wouldn't be Werewolves? We've faced giant wolves before."

Erik clicked his tongue in frustration. "Well, you're right. And now, therese these things. I can see that they aren't just mindless brutes like those wolves. I can see intelligence in their eyes."

The creatures were circling them now with their predatory gazes locked onto them.

Mia's attention flickered back to the rift. "The rift is getting thinner," she said with urgency.
