Chapter 67 - Decided

Just like before, a black mist began to swirl on the battlefield from the shadows. From within the dark haze the monstrous horde then appeared once more. The creatures surged forward with their seemingly endless numbers. Odin's heart sank as he watched them approach. There was no end to this madness.

Odin had been fighting for what felt like an eternity, his body growing heavier with each passing moment. The wound on his side throbbed painfully. He had searched desperately for the source of these creatures, the dark power that kept bringing them back and now he was certain that the figure on the mountaintop was the key to all of this.

But to gain this knowledge, Odin had paid a big price. He have to suffer the deep wound on his side and his strength was beginning to wane. Yet, he could not afford to stop. The lives of his soldiers depended on him and as their king he could not abandon them to die to even retreated for a few minutes to tend his wounds.
