In their own room, Liam sat across from his grandfather, who was now staring at him with wide eyes. The expression of disbelief etched into his wrinkled features.
The old man had always known that Liam was special but nothing could have prepared him for the story his grandson had just tell him from his journey.
He just tells him that he just battling creatures from ancient myths, of wielding powers that defied the natural world, and of facing challenges that belonged more to the pages of a fantasy novel than to the life of the young man before him.
His grandfather, Thomas, leaned back in his chair, trying to process everything he had heard.
"Is that… is that really everything you've done, Liam?" he asked with voice filled with awe.
Liam nodded, but his expression is stern cause right now, all of that feat is not that important.
"Yes, Grandpa. And it's not even over. I'm sure there's more to come. This is just the beginning," Liam said.
