Erik and Mia followed Netharos deeper into the stronghold. Their footsteps echoing softly against the cold stone floor.
The air around them felt thick, reminded them that they were far from the surface. Netharos led them down a series of winding passages until they arrived at a small room.
"This will be your quarters," Netharos said, gesturing to the door.
Erik stepped inside first then followed closely by Mia. The room was sparse with only a single stone slab in the corner that appeared to serve as a bed. Fortunately, above the bed there is also a mattres with white sheet.
The walls were bare, blocked stone and the air carried the damp chill of a place deep underground. There were no windows, only a flickering light from a torch mounted on the wall.
Netharos gave them one last glance before turning to leave. "Rest now. You'll be summoned when Lady Valeria has made her decision."
