Chapter 135 - Beam

The black mist now freed from the rune's restraint. It began to surge and expand quickly and become swirling tendrils that crept through the battlefield again. Mia's eyes flicked to the dark fog, knowing it was only a matter of time before it enveloped everything. They had to act quickly, but Erik was still locked in combat with Valeria.

When Mia glanced at them their weapons still clashing with sparks of Aether that lit up the snowy ground. He had no idea the danger that was creeping closer to them.

When she ran dodging Ragi, Mia's breaths came in ragged gasps. Ragi was relentless, his grotesque form nearly unrecognizable. His limbs that now become twisted and made of molten rock left trails of steam as they seared the snow beneath him.

His body was a gruesome sight. Flesh torn and charred, hanging in ragged pieces from Mia's attacks yet he pushed forward, fueled only by a rage that refused to die.
