What happens when many ordinary citizens suddenly gain some great power? What happens to the government?
Revolution.
Public discontent plus the emergence of mass users of power. Will the people just stand by?
Of course not, everyone will try to do something about their fate.
However, revolution can only be happen when a mass of people are led by one charismatic person to unify their cause.
When everyone is a leader for themselves and their go their own way, it is not revolution that happens, but the opposite...
Chaos.
5 months have passed since Gilgamesh made his world-turning announcement, and the entire world has been engulfed in endless chaos.
One country after another collapsed due to the anarchy of its own citizens.
Military might is useless in the face of a mass of people who have the power to defy the laws of physics themselves.
And that's what happened for 5 months.
The race to create their own empires and governments led to the decline of civilization.
Those who were strong created their own government and those who were weak had to submit or at least go elsewhere to raise their level to be able to achieve higher power.
"Hey, do you think my mom will like this?" asked a young girl of 16 years old.
Shoulder-length black hair, a fairly athletic body and she was wearing a rather loose t-shirt and training pants.
If the world was still normal, she should be in high school and studying for the future. But now, she was in one of those messy, abandoned malls.
"Why are you asking me? She's your mother," replied Aril, a 20 year old man wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
He wore gloves with several blunt metal protrusions on his knuckles.
The two were in a dusty shop, inside a long-abandoned mall.
The walls were broken, the windows were shattered, the floor was dirty, the electricity was out and some rats were roaming around.
The two were looking for something, but not food as the store they were in was a cheap jewelry and doll shop.
"Putri, you told me that you like pandas, right?" asked Aril who was some distance away from the girl named Putri.
"Yes, but it's not a suitable gift. Just because she's my mom, doesn't mean our tastes are the same. You're really insensitive," replied Putri who was looking through the rows of necklaces displayed in the showcase.
"I guess you're right, sorry, I'll find something else," said Aril who was staring at a cute panda keychain.
He pocketed the keychain and walked over to look at the other things.
"The world is ending and I'm looking for a birthday present for a 32-year-old woman. What on earth am I doing?" Aril asked himself as he searched for a suitable gift for Putri's mother.
"Yeay! I did it!" shouted the delighted Putri.
"Did you get the gift?" asked Aril.
"It's not that, I just finished my mission, and I just leveled up."
"Oh, you mean that system. So what are you going to upgrade with your status points?"
"I want to increase my speed level."
"You're already fast enough, why not focus your points on endurance? If someone hits you, you'll faint."
"Tsk tsk tsk, people who don't have a system will never understand. Who needs defense when you can attack them before they attack you?"
Aril's face instantly frowned. "Well... Not wrong..."
"I'm a taekwondo athlete after all, I already have enough endurance."
"But you're still in the ( Enhancement system ), if you fight someone who has the ( Mutant system ) you'll lose."
Putri was instantly annoyed when she heard that and walked straight towards Aril while stomping her feet. "Just a little more! Just a little bit more and I'll evolve to the ( Mutant system )!"
"It's been 5 months and you're still stuck in the ( Enhancement System )," Aril said sarcastically.
Putri pointed at Aril's face in annoyance. "Heh! You don't even have a system, what do you know?!"
Aril could feel one of the blood vessels in his brain bursting from his irritation.
'This kid, if I don't owe her father a favor, I'm going to hit her for sure,' thought Aril who was trying to hold back his anger.
"Hhmpf." Putri turned around and turned her back to Aril.
"System," said Putri firmly and a panel suddenly appeared in front of her.
A blue and semi-transparent panel was floating in front of her.
Aril could not see the panel because a person's system can only be seen by that person. Other people cannot see it, even if that person is also a user of the system.
.
[Enhancement System]

"Hmn... I guess I'll add 1 point in (power)," said Putri who was looking at her system panel with a smile.
"You really like the ( Glass cannon ) type, did you?" said Aril.
"What's that?"
Aril sighed. "It's nothing, forget it."
Aril walked around and picked up a large teddy bear that was a bit dusty.
"I guess this will do," said Aril who brought the teddy bear to Putri.
Putri immediately laughed. "Hahaha! Why did you choose that? Do you think my mom is still a child?"
"Shut up. You women always make things difficult. I'll choose the safest option."
Aril walked out of the shop and waited for Putri who was still busy choosing her gift.
A large, deserted mall. It was so quiet that even small sounds could echo throughout the mall. Including the sound of approaching footsteps...
Aril's eyes widened as soon as he heard the footsteps.
Two people? No, more than that. Maybe 5 or more.
Aril rushed into the shop and told Putri to hide.
The two of them hid behind the counter and watched carefully so as not to get caught.
6 adult men walked over while observing the surroundings. 5 of them were carrying a machete. But there was something strange.
The man walking at the very back was not carrying any weapon. His hair was long and wavy and he wore sunglasses. His face showed seriousness and his whole body looked muscular.
Escort? But why should he be escorted?
The man with glasses looked suspicious. Aril didn't know who the man was but his instinct told him not to fight him.
"Putri, did you see the man wearing sunglasses?" Aril asked in a low tone of voice as if whispering.
"Yes, I know, he was escorted by 5 people and since those 5 people were wearing weapons, they must be just ordinary citizens," replied Putri in a low tone as if whispering.
"No, that's not what I meant."
Putri stood up and ran towards the group of men and jumped forward while showing a big smile on her face.
One of the men tried to slash at her but she twisted in the air and delivered a horizontal kick to the man's head. The man was thrown far away and unconscious after that.
Putri landed on the floor perfectly and 2 people immediately lunged towards the girl.
She lifted her feet off the ground. She bent her elbows forward and placed her palms on the floor, beside her head.
She braced her hands, bent her knees, braced her stomach and kicked straight into the stomachs of the two men.
The 2 men immediately lay on the floor and lost consciousness.
One man lunged forward towards the Putri who was still lying on the floor.
She executed a powerful vertical upward kick and managed to dislodge the man's lower jaw.
The girl continued the momentum of her kick and doing a backflip then landed perfectly.
She stared at the remaining 2 men.
A man holding a machete and a man wearing sunglasses.
The man took off his glasses to see Putri more clearly. "That speed and strength, it's impossible for such a girl like you to have."
Aril who noticed that immediately panicked and rushed to run and stand in front of Putri.
"Aril, what are you doing? Don't get in my way!" said a rather annoyed Putri.
Aril broke out in a cold sweat. "We're in a serious danger right now."
"Huh? What do you mean? We can win."
The wavy-haired man looked Putri right in the eye. "You're an ( Enhancement System ) user, right?"
Putri was immediately surprised and began to worry. "Wait a minute, don't tell me that you are too...."
The wavy-haired man suddenly grinned widely. "Mutant system, activated!"
