Usually, after a big accomplishment, I'd be too excited to sleep, my mind racing with the thrill of success. I'd be lying there, replaying the moment over and over, too wired to settle down. But this time was different. As soon as I closed my eyes, I felt a wave of calm wash over me, and I drifted off almost immediately. There was something profoundly satisfying about this achievement, knowing that I'd finally managed to pull off something that had seemed nearly impossible.
