All of a sudden, an explosion happened behind them. Then, the warriors turned around to face the enemy. Still, once again, they found nothing… they were utterly confused about how I could use magic without alerting them. The truth of the matter was that I couldn't.
The only thing I was doing was firing Fireballs upward and making them fall almost completely vertically where I wanted, and since they weren't expecting attacks from above or magic, for that matter, that took them off guard nicely.
As the enemies realized their miscalculation, panic began to spread among them. They barely had time to comprehend the danger before three of their comrades staggered forward, their faces contorted in pain. The sound of arrows slicing through the air was followed by the dull thuds of impact. Each arrow found its mark with unerring accuracy, embedding itself deep into the backs of the targets.
