'This time, it's a wooden cabin?' White thought as he looked around, confused.
'Every time I complete a trial, I'm sent to another location.' White concluded as he started looking around just like he had in the other tests, trying to find any clues that could help him.
That was until he heard a voice.
This time, the voice was neither old nor was it young and childlike.
"There is no need to look around, oh wise and perceptive," the voice said.
The voice seemed to come from the small chair at the end of the cabin. Just like the other times, the figure or voice was covered in a veil of imperceptible darkness.
"Are these tests finally over?" White asked as he stood on guard and stared at the chair.
"The tests were only to see if thy one was worthy of meeting. I shall ask you three questions. If you answer all of them correctly, then they may wish for anything," The voice said as he got up from the chair.
Walking closer and closer to White, he could finally see what the voice looked like.
A human or at least mostly human appearance if it wasn't for one simple but large difference.
The voice had three heads.
One of them was old with white hair and wrinkles; it was on the left side of his body.
The second head was that of a small child, it was situated on the right side of the body.
In the middle, where a human head is usually located, is a young man's face, his eyes showing a pure black color with black hair and sharp eyebrows.
Overall, it looked handsome beyond belief. It looked otherworldly.
"What if I don't answer the questions correctly?" White asked as he faced the three-headed man.
A large, eerie laughter echoed in the room.
This time, it was the old head who answered the question.
The old raspy voice is barely able to voice out the words, just like in the spiral tower.
"Thy one shall be thy unwise, and thy unwise shall bear the curse in thy stead," The old head said as it released another long laughter.
'So if I fail, then I shall take its place? Does it mean that he is stuck in this place because of the curse, or is it some other curse?' White thought for a moment and then nodded his head.
"All right, I'll take the bet. However, I wish to look around the room first." White said as he looked at the three-headed man, or should it be called a monster?
The head that looked like that of a kid answered this time as it voiced out in a high-pitched voice.
"Of course, mister, you can look around all you want. When you are ready, simply call for this Krabat, and they shall start the questioning," The young kid said as they released a small giggle.
The young kid didn't sound or look adorable. He or it gave an eerie feeling much greater than the old voice.
As for the middle-aged head, then it wasn't even a comparison.
'The higher the test they handle, the more eerie and harrowing the heads feel,' White thought as he started walking around the cabin.
Looking around, I saw that there really was nothing interesting in there besides a small bookcase.
There were three books in the case.
Opening the first book, White's eyes widened slowly.
'The experiences of the past challengers of this place.' White thought as he stared at the book's pages.
Reading through the tens of pages, White quickly found out that he was nowhere near the first to pass the tests. Hundreds had passed the tests and arrived at the third test. Some had passed by luck, some were simply perceptive enough to not even need to close their eyes, and some, like white, had been wise enough to find a solution.
Quickly flipping through the pages of the first book, White found that most people had passed using the method he had.
Finally, White opened the third book.
Taking a quick, surprised breath, White released it slowly.
*Hufff*
'What the hell is this?' White thought as he stared at the pages.
They were all written in blood in comparison to the other books.
Reading all the words on the third book's pages, White came to a conclusion using their words.
'No one has managed to pass this test yet, though the last participant came very close.'
'By using the experiences of the other participants, they created a set of rules for this test,' White thought as he got up on his feet and turned to look at the chair where the three-headed monster was seated.
One, never trust Krabat's words.
Two, Never ever allow Krabat to touch you; it is not a part of the test, and you have the right to refuse.
Third, Krabat's only intention is to kill you; he is, however, held back by some unknown force. This unknown force is released if you let him touch you or you touch him.
Fourth, The only other way that Krabat gains a way to kill you is by completing the three questions.
'Those were all the rules that the others managed to gather by giving up their lives,' White thought as he gulped and looked at the monster, who was now smiling at him.
*Sigh*
"All right, Krabat, start the first question," White said as he stared at the monster.
Krabat got up on his feet, headed to the middle of the cabin, and nodded to White with a smile as all three heads opened their mouths at the same time.
Their voices interlocked with each other to create a horrifying sound as they looked at White.
"Thy has chosen to start the questions. May thy not be like thy self and thy rest," Krabat said
"Thy first question is: Thy raven gathers at the mill, thy good man comes to thy help the raven. Does the raven trust thy man"
