"You..." Andrei stepped back for a moment.
"I can feel it; your mind is burdened with worry for someone, human..." Medusa opened her eyes, but Andrei remained normal; he didn't turn to stone.
"You... what are you..." He stepped back again, his greed suppressed deep within his mind. It wasn't like he was being controlled by greed when he rushed here; it was his curiosity that tugged at him.
"I am nobody and also everybody. I exist but I don't; I do things, but it destroys things. You choose who I am or what I am, but one question you must ask is... am I needed by you?" Medusa spoke in a confusing manner that instantly baffled Andrei. He had never heard anything like this before.
But he did recall the questions guardians would ask when heroes found treasure, so he took this as a riddle.
"I am asking who you are. Are you dangerous?" he repeated.
"Am I dangerous? What if I am, or what if I am not? You decide what you believe..." Medusa replied.
