"Ugh…" Ariadne looked up and saw everything in flames. She remembered trying to escape the city with the carriage, but within moments, the carriage had overturned and was destroyed in a flash.
"Ugh… no, carriage driver!!!" She was lying beneath the carriage driver, who had apparently protected her from something.
The driver was dripping blood and lifeless.
"Ughhh…" Lily pushed the driver off her.
"Huh???!!! Lily!!! LILY!!!" Ariadne noticed Lily lying on the ground, bloodied.
"NO!!! LILY LILYYYYY!!!" She picked Lily up and placed her hand on Lily's body, relieved to find she was still breathing.
"Thank the gods!!! Cough… Cough… Cough…" Ariadne looked around. The once-beautiful city was now in shambles, as if something had descended and obliterated it in an instant. The terrible smell in the air came from burning flesh of beings that had fallen.
"RUNNN!!!"
"THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!"
"GET OUT!!!"
