They looked back to see a man in armor observing them. Ariadne smiled.
"Greetings, gentlemen—" she began, but was interrupted.
"Follow me. Do not touch anything or run away," he instructed.
Ariadne was taken aback. Was this how they treated a princess from another kingdom?
"Here." The captain of the guard handed the man a sheepskin with written orders.
"You don't have to; Princess Ariadne wishes to participate in the Annual Before-Olympics Tournament. Here." The man opened his hand, and the carriage stopped at the deck.
"You will be taken to your residence," he nodded at Ariadne.
Ariadne nodded back, and they boarded the carriage.
