"Are you alright?" one of the guards asked Alex, noticing his discomfort.
"Haha, yes, I'm fine... but who lives in this house?" Alex pointed at the building ahead.
"Oh, that's where you're headed. It's our town's doctor," the guard smiled reassuringly.
Alex smiled nervously, though the energy radiating from the house felt like a monster awakening, its presence terrifying him. It reminded him of the same overwhelming power he had felt from the Emperor.
He couldn't figure it out. Perhaps it was the 7th Tier of Spark Energy, or maybe even higher—Alex couldn't be sure.

Each step on the snow sounded like a heartbeat to Alex, and he was sweating so much it dripped onto the ground.
"Why are you so sweaty, Alex?" another guard asked, puzzled.
