"AYE," most of the group shouts.
No surprise who the dissenting vote is when Fuxi calls out, "Nay," without being asked.
Wukong says, "The ayes have it--Wendigo Will is in."
Smoothing his beard, Mithra hands Will a standard investor contract to become a shareholder in the inn. "I've put you down for a ten percent stake in the inn."
"I'm offering more," Will asserts.
Mithra shakes his head. "Generous of you, but ten percent is plenty, considering everything that you will be doing for us. Providing advertising and thus eyeballs and visibility ... helping us defeat Marduk and save Tina, who's the personal assistant to the owners ... and putting the Wendigo in the Wendigo Residence Inn. And yes, I've already given that little slogan to the marketing team."
"Hold up," Fuxi snarls. "Does he get a seat on the board, too?"
"That's standard," Mithra shoots back. "Just as it is with all of you. Fair is fair."
