Thunderous applause rings in my ears, mainly from Persephone and Hades.
I can't believe we pulled this off without Daji keeping everyone in line. My head is swimming with the indescribable relief that we not only didn't have a total disaster, we wowed our guests. Persephone and Hades loved it.
Someone taps me gently on the shoulder. It's a furry hand, so probably Wukong or Erlang. Both shone brilliantly, by the way. The brightest stars on our little slice of off-off-off-Broadway.
"Don't just stand there scratching your butt. The curtain's going up," Wukong says with gusto. "This is a godly curtain call!"
I herd everyone behind the columns as the curtain goes up.
First, Sandy and Pigsy run out, bowing profusely. Sandy raises his big clawed hands and bows, while Pigsy squeals in glee. Huge applause.
They both ran like the wind as Hades' horses, and were great as judges.
Next, Athena, Waverly, and Apollo run out and bow. More applause.
