The tent explodes, showering fabric down on us like snow. But that's the least of our worries as Lamashtu and Pazuzu duke it out in the sky above the green-and-white sanctuary of the Wendigo Residence Inn.
A clash of the gods around here doesn't even make the staff bat an eye after so many decades of such incidents, but the rivalry between Lamashtu and Pazuzu is legendary. The landscapers and guests freeze in place. Loki is a Norse statue lounging outside. He gawks along with everyone else. Dumbfounded, Thor squirts sunscreen all over his brother accidentally and pulverizes the bottle. Loki doesn't even chastise his brother. He's transfixed by the cosmic battle in the air.
"We should help," Thor blurts out.
