"Ace," Alice called Lance again. He did not respond. She crouched down and held his wrist.
"Lance." He blinked twice.
"Y-yeah?"
"Act normal." Her eyes sharpened.
"If we are the ones they are looking for, it's best to act normal. This leader person does not know who exactly is the 'Awakener' among the trainees, that's why he launched an attack against us."
Lance caught an important word,
"Us?" Alice nodded.
"Us three. Out of all the trainees, we three are the Suits that mutated and now have extraordinary physical and magic abilities. So, most likely, the 'Awakeners' they mentioned refer to us."
Michael was surprised. "Right… Why did I not think of that? But Alice, if it's us three, why am I not included? Ralph said it's only you two, why not me too?"
