Chapter 68 - Mission

Just another hour. Another day. At least let him feel the warmth of being in his younger brother's company.

Sometimes the silence in these walls is defeaning. More often these days, he find himself sitting in his sofa, staring at the kitchen where he use to see Cole cooking for their dinner.

Cole took a robe from his cabinet and lean in the same window. He lit the cigerrate with the lighter sitting on top of a counter. Taking a sniff, he watch as the smoke escaped from his lips as he blew it off.

Loving a man is no longer considered a sin in this society. But loving your own brother romantically will bring nothing but condemnation.

If they ask him, he was willing to face the scrutiny of others as long as he can be happy with Cole.

But that is only his happiness, not Cole's.

In short, these feelings are a burden.

And there is no need to burden his younger brother who was already living a normal life.
