Dwayne became even more determined. His eyes shone with brilliance as he insisted.
Raven gave up on his attempt to deny everything. His lips curl a little.
"What makes you think I know you before?"
"Because you are strangely kind to me. And Mister, earlier I said that my mother love jasmine and you readily agreed. Doesn't that mean that you know her as well? And if you know her that means you know me too. Mister, don't deny it!"
Dwayne huffed. He was panting slightly as he spoke all those words in one breath. A single bead of sweat even soak his soft brown curl on his forehead.
Raven can't help but notice. Almost naturally, he wiped it using his fingers.
Raven lips curl. Without hesitation, he pulled Dwayne to his arms. Forcing Dwayne to get up and lean his body against Raven's chest. Their faces are inches apart, their forehead are even bumping into each other.
"I'm not kind. I'm just a man who has an ulterior motive, that's all."
