General Annie was now back in the settlement—and the first thing that welcomed him was Gerard's mutated and melted corpse. She was already rushing to come back to Scualor 7 when she heard that something happened with Gerard again, but she truly was not expecting to be welcomed by this.
"...And this man was supposed to report back to the city too—why was he still here?" General Annie squinted her eyes as she watched as the other exterminators practically shovel Gerard's corpse into a truck
"I should be asking that to you, Annie my girl…"
"Hm…?" Annie just subtly tilted her head to the side as she heard Lucian's voice beside her, "You're suspecting that I have something to do with this?"
"No," Lucian shook his head as he also enjoyed the scenery, "I know you have nothing to do with this, but you need to convince her."
