Kaiju are generally not given a name — after all, the monsters they shape from are generally random most of the time. If they mutated from a mantis, then they would just be called a Mantis Kaiju; if they mutated from a wolf, then it would generally just be called a Wolf Kaiju.
And most of the time, they do not even go down to the specifics. They would call it an Insect-type Kaiju, or a Beast-type Kaiju. Only those that have terrorized or persisted are given a proper name, like the Verdant Turtle.
Lucian had actually faced a named kaiju before — the Scorpion Assassin. Not much is really known about them, but there are plenty of them scattered across the Wasteland; the Murcans are saying that there was a scorpions' nest near a radioactive spill. The Hestians, however, believe that they are demons sent down there to punish everyone.
Whatever the case may be, kaiju are completely random…
