"Rosa… what… what is happening…?"
"Ssh, my love. Just… just rest, please. Just rest."
Rosa didn't know how long it had been, but all she could really do was cover her ears. But even then, however, she could not escape from the tormented groans and moans of his people, literally.
It was initially just a figure of speech when she said that she made a deal with the devil, but now… perhaps she truly did.
Hours now. Hours now that the little thumb-sized creature was forcing the hunters to summon fire and water — those who could summon or only manipulate earth, plants, or any other abilities had already been killed by him.
And Rosa… Rosa was being forced to watch and hear as the thumb-sized creature laughed as he was surrounded by fire. As for the poor hunters who were left alive, they already looked incredibly pale; their eyes sunken and their lips dry due to their mana being exhausted.
"P…please, enough… please… Sacred Spirit…" The fire mage let out a long and raspy gasp as she completely dropped to the ground; the flames that Lucian was dancing in, now slowly fading away along with her, "I… I can't anymore."
"Hm?" Lucian's head very slowly turned toward the fire mage; his eyes, as wide as they could be as he stared at her, "...Why are you deciding that on your own? You attack me, and then you think you can just rest anytime you want?"
"S...Sacred Spirit, please!" The water mage kneeled down on the ground. And although he was not as exhausted as the fire mage, his breaths were still quite heavy, "We… we did as you asked."
"You call me a freak, and then call me a Sacred Spirit when you beg for your lives," Lucian let out a small but very deep sigh as he clasped his forehead, "I have heard many of such pleas before — and you know what I did to stop it?"
"Wh—" The water mage was going to say something else, but then just completely shut his mouth as he watched Lucian just stab the fire mage's head from the top of her head and all the way to her chin.
"I kill them to make them stop," Lucian shrugged as he very slowly removed the blade from the fire mage's head, "I find that is the most effective way after I've lived for a thousand years. Why only after a thousand years, you asked?"
"I…" The water mage wasn't asking anything.
"Because I am a doctor," Lucian shrugged, "I swore an oath not to harm or kill anyone — but when the civilization I spoke that oath to died, well… my oath died with it. Ha… but still, I am magnanimous and merciful."
"Does… does that mean you are—"
"Yes," Lucian smiled and nodded at the water mage, "That means I will no longer let you suffer, you can go now. Quick, before I change my mind."
"T…thank you, Sacred Spirit! Thank you!" The water mage tripped as he quickly rushed to get away from Lucian; he did not mind the pain, however, as he just quickly stood up again, "Thank you, thank you!"
"You can go to hell, that is!"
And there, Rosa watched as Lucian practically cleaved the water mage in half, vertically; his goo-like hair, extending incredibly long.
"Ha…" Lucian then let out a small but very deep sigh again while shaking his head, "I still got jokes."
"Eep!" And as Lucian slithered his way back to Rosa and Adelfred, Rosa could not help but just flinch and try to protect her lover.
"Shut up, bitch. Why do you always 'eep eep' like that?" Lucian clicked his tongue as he imitated the way Rosa gets scared. But after a few seconds, he just once again let out a sigh, "I apologize, that was rude. I am trying to improve my patience, I swear. So…
…are the two of you just going to cower all day long there or are you going to move?"
"That…"
"I thought you were going to that settlement or whatever?" Lucian then started slithering back to the corpses and grabbing all the jugs of water they had and handing them to Rosa. And without even waiting for her to say anything, Lucian crawled on her legs and then started to climb all the way to the top of her head,
"Go, onward, my child."
"H… huh?" Rosa could not help but blink a couple of times as she tried to look up at Lucian, "Wait, are you… you're coming with us?"
"...Yes," Lucian then leaned his head down so that Rosa could see him, "I told you I would protect you from the hunters — who knows how many more of these mongrels come after you?"
"That…" Rosa could really only take in a small gulp. Can… she really bring this creature to a settlement? Or… was she going to risk the lives of the people there?
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lucian's eyebrows began to lower, "Wait, don't tell me you're thinking that I am going to do something to the people there…? Wha—young woman, I am offended."
"That's not what I was—"
"What makes you think I would harm anyone?" Lucian said.
"Uhm…" Rosa then subtly turned to look at all the severed limbs and headless corpses around the cavern.
"Stop being so dramatic. They attacked me first, okay?" Lucian sighed, "Now. come on. Tut tut."
"Ee…" Rosa was about to eep again when Lucian just casually tapped the Scorpion Assassin's blades on her shoulders like she was some sort of horse.
"Onward, my steed! To the settlements!"
"That…"
"Where is your energy, ugly woman!? Onward, to the settlements!"
"To…" Rosa could really only stand up while assisting Adelfred… and also carrying all the water jugs with her. Still, Rosa did not even let out a breath of complaint and even nodded her head and also raised her hand, "...To the settlemen—Uagh!"
Her excitement, however, was quickly curbed as Lucian very slapped her cheek, "Who said you can copy me?"
"Wh…why are you so mean?" Rosa could not help but whisper out as she started walking.
"I apologize, I have been devoid of social interaction for millions of years," Lucian cleared his throat, "I am just…
…not used to the people I am talking to actually answering me."
"I… I see," Rosa's voice slightly turned somber as she heard Lucian's words, "You've… been lonely for so long, Sacred Spirit."
"I have been alone for so long, being lonely is a different matter," Lucian shook his head, "And my name is Lucian, remember it. What's this Sacred Spirit you people keep on yapping about?"
"Lucian…" Rosa breathed out, "...Sacred Spirits are creatures born out of mana, the purest forms of life. We believe that—"
"Yeah, nope," Lucian stopped Rosa, "I'm not the Sacred Spirit or anything, I shot out of my father's dick ready."
"W… what?"
"Yup. I'm actually not even a creature, I'm just a sentient sperm in the shape of whatever I am."
"That's—"
"At least I am not as ugly as your lover, I mean—shit…"
"L…Lucian, please don't disrespect him."
"Wow, you're really brave when it comes to protecting each other, huh?"
"That's…"
And with their voices fading away from the caverns, Lucian's new adventure awaits him…
…not knowing the chaos he was creating.

"There are new images from the Geiger counter!"
Back in the nearest Murcan city from where Lucian is, the General's eyes were once again fixated on the giant screen. Her eyes, reflecting the bird that flew Lucian almost hundreds of miles away.
"Shit!" The General slammed her fist on her desk, "It's gone! Send word to the team that they're wasting their time searching the last known location… damn it!"
"Y… yes, Ma'am!"
Everyone could hear the General's frustrations, and she wasn't alone — everyone in the hall stopped whatever it was they were doing whenever there was an update with the tiny kaiju.
"...Mages again?" The General whispered as she saw photos of Hestians again, "Is… it moving closer to Hestia? It—3.22!?"
Everyone gasped as the tiny kaiju once again measured itself with the Geiger counter.
"Why… how is it increasing so fast…?" The General fell down to her chair, "And… is it on someone's head?"
"G…General… I…" The General's assistant approached her; adjusting his glasses with his quivering hand, "...I was hoping you were wrong… but… I think we should inform the Exterminators now."
"Hm…" The General only glanced at her assistant, "...Send them the data."
"We… still haven't created a profile for it. What should we classify it—"
"A Humanoid Kaiju."
"Humanoid…!?"
Everyone's eyes turned wide as they heard the General's words, "But the last Humanoid Kaiju was… is it… is it really as dangerous as—"
"We're not taking any chances," the General shook her head as she stared at Lucian's face.
"And… and its name?"
"We already have it," the General glanced at her assistant, "The sewer workers in the recording we recovered — they called it a Tiny Fucking Kaiju."
"We… we can't put that—"
