The second elder took the jade bottle with trembling hands. He understood that the pills inside had been prepared using the mysterious hand techniques that many alchemists could only dream of mastering.

As the cork came off, the second elder took out one of the pills and inspected it. His expression soon turned to one of astonishment. He saw golden vein-like lines all around the pill and gasped at the sight. "Pill veins! These are pill veins!"
"What?!" Master Lu was shocked and immediately took the pill from the second elder to examine it himself.
"How could this be?!" he exclaimed, seeing the golden, pattern-like lines spread throughout the entire pill. He was stunned, flabbergasted, and astonished all at once.
