What Li Yun didn't notice was that while the contents of the ingredients he had put in were tempering his bones and changing them completely, something else was engraving itself onto his bones.

If one were to see the cauldron from the outside, they would notice the engravings of dragons on the cauldron shining with a bright golden light, which seemed to be fading as time passed, causing the golden light to slowly disappear.

Inside the cauldron, these golden engravings mixed with the ingredients and etched themselves onto Li Yun's bones as they tempered him.

Slowly but surely, without Li Yun even knowing, all the dragon engravings on the cauldron vanished and appeared on his bones, etching themselves across his entire skeleton, shining with a golden light.

Li Yun, busy handling the pain and trying to remain conscious, didn't notice anything.
