Elder Chu looked at the crafty-faced disciple and asked, "Are you sure, Wang Li? This is a life-and-death battle, and you might die if you agree to fight in the Life and Death Arena."
Wang Li nodded. "Elder Chu shouldn't worry. I know what I'm doing."
Elder Chu sighed and nodded helplessly. "If that's what you've decided." He then turned his attention to the disciples.
"Since Li Yun is a new disciple and may not have known the rules of the Combat Hall, I've decided to give him a chance. He will fight a life-and-death battle alongside Hua Fu with Wang Li as his opponent. If he wins, he will be spared; if he loses, he will be killed. That is the least we can do for ignorant new disciples," he announced. Then he turned to Li Yun, who had an ugly expression on his face.
Elder Chu sneered slightly when he saw Li Yun's face and asked, "How about it? Are you happy now?"
