The question rang out as Nolan turned to look at Luna, who stood by his side, gazing into the distance like him.
Once more, he stared outside.
The students were going about their activities as they normally would, and there was no chaos at all.
There were even laughter and giggling among some of the Ascendants, and they didn't seem to fight or hate each other.
All in all, things were pretty peaceful.
"Peaceful!" Nolan replied, and a small smile, one of melancholy, rested on Luna's lips, her right hand hugging her left.
"It seems like that at first sight, doesn't it?"
"I had the same thought when I arrived here about five or so years ago," she whispered and Nolan silently listened to her.
"But now, you don't think the same?" he whispered back softly, and Luna shook her head.
"Things aren't as peaceful as they appear here. If it can even be called peaceful at all," she said quietly.
