Eris whispered his name, her voice a sultry promise. "Adrian, my champion, let go and come for me."
"I think it's too early for that," Adrian replied as he pulled away and took a step back. Turning to the other goddesses and Selene, he spoke. "We need to find a more comfortable place before we continue."
Ava scoffed. "Really? You want to do this here, in front of everyone?"
"Yes," Lilith purred, her lips curving into a sly smile. "He's going to. Besides," she continued with a note of amusement in her voice, "it's not like we haven't seen this before. I don't think there's anything that can surprise us."
Ava chuckled. "Oh, you'd be surprised, sister."
Selene, who had been standing silently beside them, stepped forward. "You should choose anywhere you want, Lord Adrian."
"What about the temple? The ruins are private and safe," Ava said, her eyes fixed on him.
