The village head raised a hand, signaling his guards to advance, but Adrian was already moving, sword drawn and ready to defend himself.
As the soldiers moved closer to Adrian, Medea, and Faolan, the atmosphere in the village hall became increasingly tense. Adrian's hand clenched tightly around the hilt of his sword, but his voice remained calm, trying to defuse the situation before blood was shed.
"We don't want to fight," Adrian said in a firm voice. "Call off your men, and let's resolve this without unnecessary violence."
