Finally, they stopped in front of a large, ornate door. The goblins huddled together, trembling as they gestured toward it.

"She's in there," one of them whispered, its voice barely audible. "The goddess herself."

Adrian stared at the door, his heart pounding in his chest. 

This was it—the final confrontation. He could feel the weight of the moment settling over him, the tension in the air thickening with every breath.

Without another word, Adrian stepped forward, his hand resting on the door's handle. The goblins cowered behind him, clearly too afraid to go any further. 

He could feel their eyes on him as he pushed the door open, the ancient wood creaking under the pressure.

As the door swung open, Adrian was greeted by a chamber bathed in golden light. He stood frozen for a moment as he took in the sight before him. Gold—piles and piles of it—glistened under the soft glow of torchlight.
