The two of them spent a few minutes in a quiet embrace. They didn't talk and just let the moment pass with just the two of them alone.
If it was before, then Lizzie would be far too embarrassed to do this out in public. There were a couple of passers-by giving them strange looks and chuckling to themselves, teasing the two of them to 'get a room'.
But Lizzie ignored them. After finding out that the world had gone out of order and that everything she knew could soon disappear from her sight, things like embarrassment were nothing to worry about.
Finally, she broke the silence by asking Atlan the question that had been bugging her and everyone else in the HeadQuarters.
