Finally, the reinforcements were dispatched. They were all 3rd stage students who were hastily put together for this emergency. Their job was simple: they just had to go and save the beginner Saviors from the Remedium, and nothing else. They were expressly told not to meander off or try to fight the Canzer.
They were told nothing about the situation.
When they arrived at the scene, they were surprised to see that there were a lot of soldiers crowded around the portal.
Once they dismounted from their horses and went forward did they finally see the gruesome sight of a pool of blood. The soldiers were stuffing white gauze around Neumann's stomach, but the blood still kept gushing out.
The leader then saw the Stun Wizard sitting in the corner with a blanket over her shoulders. She was the only one still conscious.
"What happened?" the leader asked her. "How did you all fail a simple beginner mission?"
