Chapter 16 - Pause/Rewrite/Drop notice

So yeah, the title is pretty much self explanatory.

When I took it upon myself to write a total of 4 novels at a time, I managed to pull it of for an entirety of... two days. High on the achievement, I thought I could continue. And to be honest, I was about to, but as I sat down to reread the last chapter and pick up where I left today...

I've realized just how damn atrocious it was, with basic grammar mistakes, missing words, bad sentence structure or outright boring progression.

This novel, if it is to ever trully exist, has to be rewritten, especially with how much I would have to change to properly include the topic of this contest, the myth, into the fabric of the story.

And so, as much as it pains me to give up so early, that's exactly what I'm doing.

Rather than spreading my attention and time thin between four different novels (7th Hero Summoning, God of Crafting, Mysterious project the name of which I won't reveal anytime soon that I write in the depths of my cave and then OLR) I've decided to just focus on the two active novels that I feel like actually writing.

I've learned what it feels like to try to force myself to write something and... And welp, it's better to stop it early, before any of you are seriously engaged rather than forcefully dragging it over several hundred chapters just to drop it then when I would rather terminate myself than to write another word for it.

Is this the end of OLR?

It's not.

As the successor to OLS (A better version of it, you coulds say) it's something I"m set on doing. But right now simply isn't the good time for me to do so. And so, I hope you could all give my other novels (especially God of Crafting!!!) a try and I'm sorry if this message let you down.

All the best,

MotivatedSloth
