Aiden headed up towards the nearest building with lights. He was kind of weary because he didn't know what to expect by approaching the human settlement. He went up to a part of one of the walls that had this strange shifting part.
Beside the loose wall, a sign read," Welcome to the SeaStar shack, we are open."
Aiden tapped on the wall, we wasn't certain if he was supposed to find his own way to enter or if he was supposed to have someone open it for him. He went with the safe options, both because he didn't want to be rude and because he didn't even know how to move the loose wall.
Someone opened it, pushing it inwards. Aiden was relieved it wasn't pushed in his direction, he would have certainly got hit in the face. A beautiful dark skinned lady welcomed him in and sat him at a long skinny table with elevated chairs. Aiden sat down on a stool. After walking on his new legs he was exhausted.
Humanity had it though. Legs might be considered aesthetically pleasing to some, but lacked the beauty and practicality of a tail. Learning to walk on land made him feel like a young one learning to swim, weak and vulnerable. Aiden did not want nor need to be helped. He did not plan on over relying on anyone, this adventure was just to satisfy his curiosity, nothing more.
The mysterious lady pushed a pile of her lush black curls off her shoulder as she asked the mer what drink he wanted.
Aiden " Drink?"
He asked with a puzzled look on his face. He had no idea what this human woman was talking about. The only drink he had ever had was water and that was only because he lived in it. Was there other kinds of drinks?
The lady at the bar sighed. The young man in front of her was already probably drunk if he couldn't even remember what a drink was. The wobbly, unsure way he walked in made her conclude that he was drunk. She decided it was better to give him some water then anything with more alcohol in it.
The lady gave Aiden a glass of water and introduced herself as Malai. The merman thanked her and told her his name.
Aiden was contently drinking his fresh-water glass of water then a tiny bell chimed from somewhere. He turned around in his chair to locate where that sound came from when he saw his crush walk through the moving wall. The man called out to Malai cheerfully, asking for a cold beer. He moved to sit next to Aiden.
Malai " How are you doing Xander? I haven't seen you in a while."
Xander " You know how it is, I never drink the night before I go surfing. It's dangerous."
She passed him his beer. Malai joked to her new arrival.
Malai " At least you have some common sense. You'll live longer that way."
Xander look around the near empty room.
Xander " How are things here? Not much business, hun?"
Malaika " Sure, I got a new customer. Meet Aiden."
Xander turned towards his neighborhood and gave him a smile.
Xander " Hi, my name is Xander."
Blinded by the smile and a growing nervousness Aiden gave his name then turned his eyes downcast to focus on the glass of water in his, blushing.
Aiden " Aiden."
Xander " So not much of a talker, that's fine."
Malai " I think he's drunk. He seems like a forgetful drunk."
Xander ignored her, turning his focus to Aiden.
Xander " Let's drink while the night is young."
Aiden " Ok?"
Malai scolded Xander.
Malai " If Aiden ends up dead drunk you're dealings with him."

Aiden was so drunk. His thoughts were fuzzy and he had a strong headache. He should have stopped after the first can of beer, heck, he was already gone by then. Unfortunately, he just couldn't deny the other man's offers. He drank every can placed before him.
The small rational part of his brain still functioning, warned him that he would probably do something he was gonna regret.
Through the fogginess of his thoughts he realized Xander and Malai were having a conversation about him.
Malai " I knew I shouldn't have left him in your care. The poor guy looks like he is about to black out. He doesn't seem to have a high alcohol tolerance."
Xander " I told you I would take care of him. I'll walk him home."
Xander grabbed the drunk merman and hauled him to his feet. Then he brought one of his arm under his new acquaintance and supported his body upright. The two of them made their way towards the door.
Xander called back to Malai.
Xander " See, he's in good hands."

Aiden regained a bit of awareness when they had left the shack. He felt a slight breeze awake his senses and the warmth of someone's skin on his own. Xander's warmth!
The two of them passed under a giant tree.
They sank into the shadows of the big tree. The big leaves and their shadows hid the two men. Xander supported the completely wasted Aiden with his arm and shoulder. Aiden leaned into him, stumbling in his intoxication.
Aiden felt an insatiable thirst from the alcohol. He had no tolerance for the alcohol that had been in his cans of beer. He had drunk whole cans because the burning sensation of the liquid, as it went down his throat, distracted him from Xander. Aiden could try to deny it but he knew he was already under Xander's spell, he didn't need to tell that to him though.
Aiden was lucky to have gotten out of the shack without embarrassing himself in front of the humans. At least he thinks he did, his memory gets patchy after the second beer. All he needed to do was make a clean get away and convince himself the risk wasn't worth it, somehow. Unfortunately, Xander had noticed his intoxicated state and decided to bring him outside.
Under the tree Xander asked him where his home was, Aiden truthfully answered in his half-drunken state that his home was the sea. Xander took Aiden's answer as mindless jabber of a dead drunk, he decided to take him home and lay him on his couch.
Xander didn't want Aiden to go for a midnight swim and drown himself. He couldn't have that on his consciousness, not with everything else happening in his life at the moment.
Suddenly Aiden bursted into action. The drunkard grabbed the scruff of the other man's hoodie and pulled his face towards him. Aiden's back bumped against the tree from the force of his actions.
Aiden and Xander were kissing. Aiden leaned back into the trunk of the tree while Xander was grabbed towards the former. Aiden had willingly sandwiched himself between the tree and Xander. It was quite a romantic scene with the ocean in the background.
Xander tensed up. Some girls had set their eyes on him before and had aggressively perseued him, but no one had ever come on him so strongly. The longer Aiden kissed him the more relaxed he became. Xander found the inexperienced kisser's attempts were rather enduring and pushed forwards, inserting the tip of his tongue into Aiden's mouth. Aiden's breaths became ragged, the foreign tongue invaded his mouth, but calmed down and returned to their steady rhythm. He gained a little liquid confidence from the beer and in turn jammed his whole tongue back into Xander's mouth.
Their spit and tongues freely mixed and mingled, linking the two of them momentarily together. Both got turned on. As they kissed, Xander pushed himself up against Aiden until Aiden was sandwiched between the trunk of the tree and the other man. He planted one of his legs between the other man, feeling an urge to grind into the inexperienced man. The atmosphere surrounding the two went from awkward pecks to hot and bothered french kissing as they explored each other.
Aiden kissed Xander deeply but in half awareness from the alcohol. He stayed in a daze until he felt something hard against his front. He realized exactly what it was and felt his own thing heat and rise as Xander's made a shiver run down his spine.
Insane thoughts arose in him. He wanted to mate so badly, to have this man's thing in him. To have Xander's thing penetrate deep inside him and become stuck inside his tunnel. To let this man cum again and again in him until he was fully pregnant. Aiden wanted to make Xander's babies. To bite him and mark him as his mate. To make this man his. It gave him a shiver of pleasure.
All this scared Aiden. To get so attached and reliant on Xander in such little time. Either he truly loved this man enough to feel lust towards him, or he was deluding himself into thinking his lust was love. He also knew deep down there was no was a man could get pregnant, the population crisis would have been solved if that was the case. All of these feelings were bound to cause trouble.
He needed to stop. He was breaking so many rules. He needed to get away.
Aiden's mind because crystal clear with his newfound determination. He pushed back against Xander's chest and tried scrambling away. He still felt turned on but it was more of a distant thought now that he had a clear goal.
Xander was both pissed at the nerve of Aiden and irritated at his inability to find a release because the other man backed down.
Xander " Are you messing with me or something?"
Aiden nervously mumbled " I'm sorry... I'm really sorry. If they found out… I would be in so much trouble. YOU would be in so much trouble. I'm not supposed to have talked to you. I should never had come looking for you... I'm so sorry."
Xander conceded, obviously the other person had some problems and circumstances. Xander didn't like being used like that but he could understand circumstances, even he had some secrets. He was actually interested in the fact that this timid mess had intentionally reached out to him even when he seemed to dread the consequences.
It was cute…
Xander " You can go free tonight. However, you have to meet up with me at the SeaStar shack for a date, you owe me that at the very least."
Aiden nodded his head.
Aiden " okay."
Aiden turned away from Xander and headed towards the beach. He turned around and saw the other man standing unmoving from the place he had left him, watching him. Aiden whipped his head forwards and resisted the urge to turn back again. Part of him knew if he did Xander would still be there watching him until he disappeared into the darkness.
