"Where are you now?" Esya asked.
"I'm in Vietnam, at my fiancé's house. Why?" replied Zandaya
"Tsk, so what's his name? Where is he now?" Esya asked about the editor.
"His name is Jihoon. He said he's flying to Indonesia tonight," said Zandaya.
"Well, that's good. If something important comes up, there's no need to go anywhere," Esya said.
"What are you doing with him?" asked Zandaya in a suspicious tone.
"What? Nothing at all. I mean, if there's a revision or a new story, I don't have to go anywhere to see him. That's the point," Esya said.
"QUEEN! THE FOOD IS COMING!" shouted Mey from the TV room.
"YES, WAIT A MINUTE!" shouted Esya.
"I'm going to eat first. Don't you have anything important to say?" asked Esya before hanging up.
"Nothing. I'll give your number to him later. I'm driving, I'm hanging up!" said Zandaya.
"Hey, don't give him my number!" said Esya, but Zandaya had already hung up.
"Oh my god, it's switched off," grumbled Esya after realising that her phone had been switched off.
"EAT QUEEN!" shouted Mey.
"YES, I'M OUT!" said Queen, rushing out to the TV room.
"What took you so long?" asked Fika.
"My editor was changed," said Queen in a gloomy tone while picking up the plate reluctantly.
"Where's Mr William?" asked Mey.
"He's on leave," replied Queen
"Then who will replace him?" asked Fika.
"Do you remember the guy I told you about, the one I had a meeting with in LA?" said Esya, putting her plate back down because she wanted to provide important information about her new editor.
"Which one?" asked Fika, chewing her food slowly.
"The one where my shirt ripped," Queen replied lazily.
"Oh, the one where your sweater accidentally got caught on his watch and the knitting got delayed, right?" asked Fika.
"Yes, that one," said Esya. "Why? Is he going to be your editor for a while?" asked Mey.
"Yes. He was at a meeting with his business colleagues.I f I'm not mistaken, he's the CEO of a company," Esya replied.
"I also heard from people at the hotel before the last day of the meeting in LA," said Mey.
FYI, Mey and Fika are also writers under the same company, but they are not as busy and successful as Esya. They sometimes accompany Esya on overseas tours to attend important meetings. Apart from being a writer, Mey is also a revision editor if Esya has a lot of book deadlines. Fika helped Esya compile the presentation report for the cooperation contract.
"How do you know that much detail?" asked Queen.
"I heard it from people at the hotel before the last day of the meeting in LA," Mey replied.
"That was close," thought Mey, wondering if Fika would tell her something secret about the editor.
"I'm done. You guys clean up! I need to see Zandaya," Queen said, standing up.
"Alright, you finish your business. Don't stay up too late," Mey said.
"Yes. You guys shouldn't continue playing the PS. Better go to bed," said Queen , who started walking towards her study.
"Good night, don't stay up too late," Mey shouted.
"Night too guys !" replied QUEEN.
--- Esya is now focusing on continuing the chapter of her new book.
After that, Mey would revise the script or Zandaya if she had revised the script of Queen's other book
( QUEEN IS HER FRIEND'S CALLING WHEN IN THE OFFICE SHE'S CALLED ESYA )
Meanwhile, in Mey and Fika's room:
"Don't let it be known that Mr Jihoon has been contacting us," Mey said.
"I almost found out," said Fika.
"But all this time, the things he's been asking are just small talk, aren't they?" thought Mey.
"I thought it was like that at first too, but when Mr Jihoon asked for files about revision meetings and everything related to Queen with Mr William, that made me think it was normal," said Fika.
"Now, maybe here, I don't want to be prejudice or think anything wrong about him and Queen. But I think Mr Jihoon has a feeling for Queen.
" He also often reminded Queen not to get too tired, in the early days," Mey said.
"I initially thought so too, but I don't know how Queen views him. When they first met, they were already fighting, and it made us work three times as much as usual because we had to replace Queen at work, because she wasn't in the mood at all to continue the story," Mey added
"It doesn't happen like that anymore. We should always be there for her to keep her in the mood, so that we don't get tired of having to take care of my own book and his book too. It's not just one or two books," said Fika.
"We also need money for tuition fees, snacks, make-up, all kinds of things. That's why we work with her and have to be able to control her mood," said Mey.
"People who just look at people they don't like can immediately get into a bad mood. Especially if there are arguments of all kinds," Fika said.
"Typical emotional people. I wonder if she can actually write in an unstable mood, but that's how it is…" said Mey.
"It'll be a mess, and we'll end up getting angry with Mr William and Zandaya," added Fika.
"But I salute her too. If she's in a good mood, she can finish a book in just five hours," said Mey.
"But if she's not in the mood, well, big zero. She can't even write one word," said Fika.
"I do that sometimes too, but I'm self-conscious. I'm not like Queen who can hand over her work to her assistant," said Fika.
"Well, if we don't write at all, we don't make any money," Mey said.
"Alright, I'm just going to bed. What are you doing?" asked Fika.
"I'm doing the paper from Mr Rendra yesterday. You go to bed first, I'll follow," said Mey.
"Well, don't stay up too late. There's a morning class tomorrow, remember!" said Fika as she snuggled into the blanket.
"Yes, yes. Good night," said Mey as she moved to the table in the room.
The guest room, which Queen had originally designed to be used only for guests if anyone wanted to spend the night in her apartment, was converted into a private room for Fika and Mey. The main reason Queen remodelled the room specifically for storage and made it into a guest room was so that Fika and Mey could occupy the room more freely. The two of them were forbidden to be under the same roof as Queen because Queen had difficulty focusing if she heard their voices around her. However, gradually after Fika and Mey offered themselves as assistants to handle Queen's work and Queen was already quite immune to their noise when they were in her apartment.
