Rholas regained consciousness, and word about the heretic, a man named Axe, spread among Junior's Mountain. The heretic was powerful, and his agenda was unknown. However, what terrified the crowd was that he survived the attack that almost obliterated Junior's Mountain.
Although the church made no official statements, priests and apostles began patrolling Junior's Mountain like doves. Everyone was scared of being suspected of heresy, and most people chose to stay indoors.
Cedric returned to his pavilion and found Morrin and Serina hiding. Arturo was also there and jumped to greet Cedric as he came through the doors.
