The hulking monstrosity wore long black robes that prevented the crowd from seeing his entire body. From its frame and name, Cedric could deduce that it was a massive skeleton. Its bones squeaked as it moved toward its giant cane, which was at least three meters tall.
[No one can leave… unless I am defeated,] the undead said in a harsh, grating voice. It raised the cane and slammed it to the ground, causing a ripple across the ground. The cane released a strange hum as the bones on the ground began to shift.
Cedric stared at the scene, and his excitement made him shiver. He never thought that he would meet an undead monster here. However, he still had one more interesting person here.
The archer stared at the monster while holding his wounded arm. Sweat covered his forehead as even he could not have anticipated such a monster appearing. Undead monsters were stronger than other monsters in their class because they were harder to kill.
