Once Cedric realized that the hounds could harm his skin, he became more careful. His eyes dilated to perceive as much as possible of his surroundings. He saw the hounds slow down, and black lines linked their intent with the result.
Enharis made the fight too easy for him. Cedric dodged the small but powerful creatures with ease as he danced among them. Then, he began punching them with his hands. He quickly came to realize that the hounds' skin was also hard, like armor.
Cedric danced amidst the hounds as they jumped at him. Each step carried an attack alongside it, letting him strike them multiple times. A small storm exploded from his hands each time he punched out as a result of his Maelstrom Physique.
Despite his punches landing on the hounds, they could only push them away at best. But Cedric did not stop as he kept attacking different parts of their bodies until he heard a whimper coming from one of them.
